Basketball, like life, is full of noise these days. Distractions, haters, trolls, trades, temptations, you name it. And somehow this negativity has started to feel like the norm. Like criticism now gets to come standard.
For the much anticipated release of the new signature shoes for one of NBA’s best point guards, Damian Lillard, we went deep into the mindset of what makes Dame create negativity into creativity. When he puts on the new Adidas Dame 4’s any and all noise, hecklers and distractions become *poof* non-existent.
A series of 10 second social videos were teased on Adidas and Champs Sports Instagram Stories, with different ‘hecklers’ created to support the 7 different colorways that were slated to launch. A few of the most iconic hecklers in basketball culture also make appearances in the film.
